Principal LA ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Goals mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Password (encrypted, never stored in plain text)
• Account creation date

User-Generated Content

When you use our App, we collect:

• Plans and tasks you create
• Notes and descriptions you add
• AI conversation history with our planning assistant
• Calendar sync preferences

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App usage analytics (screens visited, features used)
• Crash reports and error logs
• Network connection status

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to premium features:

• Subscription status and plan type
• Purchase history (processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
• We do NOT store payment card details

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the App
• Process your plans and tasks
• Enable AI-powered planning assistance
• Sync your data across devices
• Send important service notifications
• Send optional email reminders you have chosen to receive
• Improve our App and develop new features
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

Email Communications

Goals offers optional email reminders to help you stay with your goals. These are turned off by default and are sent only if you choose to turn them on yourself in the App's Settings:

• Recover reminders: an email if one of your goals goes several days without activity
• Daily summary: a short recap of your goals each morning

You can turn these on or off at any time under Settings in the App, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. These optional reminders are separate from essential account and security messages (such as password resets or notices about significant changes to our Terms or this Policy), which we may send as needed to operate your account.

We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

• Your data is stored securely in Firebase Cloud (Google Cloud Platform)

• Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account
• Plans and tasks: Retained until you delete them or your account
• AI conversation history: Retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted
• Analytics data: Retained for 26 months
• Crash reports: Retained for 90 days

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Export: Download your plans and tasks

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes
