Release Notes

• A brand new start screen. "What do you want to achieve?" now greets you with a full screen of goal ideas that fill your device, sized to fit whether you're on a phone or a tablet. Tap any idea to start, or create your own.
• Your plan reads front to back. The timeline now runs from your first step to your last, in the order things actually happen, so it's easy to see where you are and what's coming.
• See the whole plan in one tap. A new "View all steps" button takes you straight to the full timeline. Previously this was a swipe gesture that was easy to miss.
• Clearer daily focus. Your current card is now labeled "Next step" or "Today", so you always know it's one step of a bigger plan.
• Reliable reminders for daily goals. Fixed a bug where check-in reminders could silently stop being scheduled for simple daily check-in goals.
• Rate every goal that's due. When several goals need a check-in on the same day, the quick rating buttons now appear for each of them.
• Accurate check-ins from notifications. Rating from a notification now records against the step you're actually working on.

• Pause and resume goals. Life happens. Put a goal on hold without losing your progress or your streak, and pick it back up whenever you're ready.
• Optional email reminders. Turn on a daily summary of what's next, plus a friendly nudge if you've been away for a while. Off by default, and you can switch it off any time in Settings.
• Rate straight from the notification. Check-in reminders now include rating buttons and show your next action right in the notification, so you can log the day without opening the app.
• Steadier check-in reminders. Reminders now use recurring system schedules, which keeps them arriving on time even if the app hasn't been opened in a while.
• Android notification fix. Resolved a permission issue that could stop reminders from appearing on some Android devices.
• Refreshed app icon. A new look on your home screen.

April 22 OTA Update

• Photos sync to everyone on a shared goal — Photos added to the timeline of a shared goal now upload to the cloud so every collaborator sees them. Previously they stayed only on the uploader's device.
• Reliable photo uploads — If an upload doesn't go through on first try (spotty connection, backgrounded app), the app now retries automatically in the background and picks up where it left off after a restart.
• Cleaner shared goals — When someone leaves or is removed from a shared goal, their per-user data is now cleaned up so the goal stays tidy.
• Smoother anonymous-to-account sign-up — If you join a shared goal before creating an account, your access migrates more reliably when you sign up, with background retry if the first attempt fails.
• Per-user streaks are authoritative — On shared goals, each collaborator's streak is tracked independently without one person's check-in affecting another's count.

April 20 OTA Update

• Reliable check-in reminders — Fixed a scheduling bug where reminders for older plans could resolve to a past date and silently never fire. All active plans now get their next reminder correctly.
• Cleaner single-plan check-in — When you only have one plan with a check-in pending, the full-screen overlay no longer appears on top of the inline check-in card, so there's just one place to tap.

• Catch-up check-ins — Missed a few days? The app now shows how many days you've missed and lets you catch up in one tap, so you can get back on track without losing momentum.
• Better notification permissions — If you previously denied notification access, the app now guides you to re-enable them in Settings instead of silently failing.
• More reliable account deletion — Deleting your account is now handled server-side for a more thorough and reliable cleanup of your data.
• Self-healing notifications — The app now cleans up orphaned check-in reminders on launch. If you deleted a goal but kept getting notifications for it, that's fixed.

April 16 OTA Update

• Check-ins now complete tasks — Submitting a check-in from the overlay now marks the current task as done in one step, so your plan advances automatically.
• Smarter check-in overlay — The full-screen overlay only appears when you have multiple plans pending or catch-up days. A single plan with just today's check-in stays inline.
• Goals needing next steps — A new banner on the home screen lets you know when goals have all tasks completed and are ready for AI-suggested next steps.
• Double-tap prevention — Rating a check-in card now briefly shows your selection before advancing, preventing accidental double submissions.
• More reliable local updates — Check-ins and task completions are applied locally first, so your progress appears instantly even on slow connections.

April 15 OTA Update

• Swipeable check-in cards — A new card-based UI for catching up on missed days. Swipe through each day individually with a satisfying gesture-driven experience.
• Pending check-ins banner — See at a glance how many days need your attention right from the home screen.
• Mid-plan suggestions — The AI now offers personalized suggestions partway through your plan based on your progress.

• Fixed a crash on sign-in — Resolved an issue that could cause the app to crash when signing in on certain devices.

• Fixed check-in saving — Check-ins without a note no longer fail to save. Previously, skipping the note field could cause a "Changes could not be saved" error.
• Fixed blank screen on notification tap — Opening the app from a notification after it was closed no longer shows a blank screen while data loads.
• Better error diagnostics — When something does go wrong, error logs now capture the specific cause so we can fix issues faster.

• Daily check-in goals — Not every goal needs a step-by-step plan. You can now create simple daily goals where you just show up and check in each day. Great for habits, streaks, and consistency.
• Start date support — Plan ahead by setting a future start date for your goal. The app counts down until launch day and holds off on tasks until you're ready.
• Refreshed welcome screen — A new animated photo showcase during onboarding to inspire your first goal.
• Clearer task completion — Buttons and labels now explain exactly what happens when you complete a step, so there's no confusion about what "done" means.
• Better keyboard handling — Bottom sheets now shift up when the keyboard appears so you can always see what you're typing.
• Improved share link previews — Sharing a goal link in iMessage, WhatsApp, or Slack now shows the goal title, creator, and image in the preview.
• Smarter join links — Expired or revoked links now show friendly, actionable messages. If you're already a member, tapping the link takes you straight to the goal.
• Collaboration tips — When joining a shared goal, you now see helpful hints like "Add your own steps" to encourage making the plan your own.

• Fixed ghost notifications — Deleting a goal now immediately stops check-in reminders instead of waiting for a background sync.
• Daylight saving time fix — Check-in reminders now fire at the time you set, even after clocks spring forward or fall back.
• Better share links — Shared goal links now show the goal's title, description, and card image when pasted into messages and social media.
• Redesigned join page — The web page for joining shared goals has a new dark-themed design that matches the app, with friendlier error messages.
• Already a member? No problem — Tapping a share link for a goal you've already joined now takes you straight to it instead of showing an error.
• Smoother deep links — Opening a share link when the app isn't running now shows a "Go Home" button so you're never stuck on a dead end.
• Friendlier error messages — Share link errors now use plain language instead of technical codes.
• Shared goal cleanup — When you delete a shared goal, collaborators are now notified and all sharing data is properly cleaned up.

• Better future goal support — Goals with a future start date now show "Starts in X days" instead of "All caught up" on the home screen.
